Escrow payments
All payments are held in escrow — never sent directly to a landlord until you've confirmed your move-in. If something goes wrong, your money is protected.
Verified landlords
Every landlord on MuzigoFinder is vetted before their listings go live. We check IDs and property ownership documents.
Field rep visits
A MuzigoFinder field representative accompanies every property viewing to confirm the property matches the listing and that you're dealing with the real owner.
No cash transactions
All payments go through our secure platform via MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Visa, or Mastercard. No cash, no risk of being scammed.
Report a problem
See something suspicious? Every listing and user has a report button. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
Data protection
Your personal data is protected under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act. We are registered with NITA-U as a data processor.
🚨 Red flags to watch out for
- • Anyone asking you to pay cash directly to a landlord outside MuzigoFinder
- • Listings with prices that seem too good to be true
- • Landlords who refuse a field rep visit or want to skip the verification process
- • Anyone claiming to be a MuzigoFinder agent and asking for money on the spot
